2. The service
Agent is a hosted AI agent: you chat with AI models from several providers, and the agent can use tools such as files, code and a browser on your behalf. It is delivered online; your plan and credit are available as soon as your payment is confirmed.
AI models can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and the agent can take actions you did not expect. Check anything that matters before you rely on it or act on it, and review what the agent does with your files, accounts and web pages.
3. Who may use and buy
You must be 18 or older to buy a plan. You may buy a plan for a business only if you may bind it, and these terms then apply to it too.
4. Your account
You sign in through Cloudflare Access with the account you choose. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
5. Plans, prices and payment
- The paid plan costs $20 a month: a $10 platform fee and $10 of usage credit included every month. Usage on our AI accounts is charged against your credit at the AI provider's published price plus 20%. The pricing page has the details.
- Prices are in US dollars and charged in South African rand at the European Central Bank's reference rate for the day, rounded up to the whole rand. No VAT is charged. The rand amount is shown before you pay.
- The plan is paid by card and renews every month on that card, at that day's rand amount, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Paystack and appear on your bank statement as "robro" (through Paystack).
- There is no minimum term. The plan runs month to month.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email and in the app. A new price applies from your first renewal after the notice ends, and you may cancel before then.
6. Placing an order
Before you pay, the app shows the plan, its price in dollars and rand and how it renews, and Paystack's payment page shows the amount again. You can correct your choice or close either page without paying. The agreement is concluded when Paystack confirms your payment, and the service starts at once.
7. Credit
- Included credit is used first and lapses at the end of each month. Top-up credit does not expire and is spent while your plan is active.
- Before a call runs, the most it could cost is set aside from your credit; you are charged what it actually cost. A call your credit cannot cover does not run. A call you stop part way is charged for what it generated.
- Credit can only be used on the service, cannot be transferred and is not cash, except for the refunds in the refund policy.
- Calls on your own API keys are never charged by us; your provider bills you for them.
8. Cancelling and the cooling-off period
You can cancel your plan at any time in Plan & credits, without a fee. Nothing more is charged after you cancel, and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives a 7-day cooling-off period, but not for a service that starts with your consent within those 7 days (section 42(2)). By subscribing you ask us to start the service immediately. Instead, the refund policy gives you a full refund if you cancel within 7 days of a payment without having used that month's credit.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to harm others, to attack or overload systems, to infringe others' rights, or to break the usage policies of the AI providers whose models you use.
10. Your content
What you write and upload stays yours. You let us store and process it to run the service for you, which includes sending it to the AI providers that answer your requests. The privacy policy explains what is kept and shared.
11. Quality and availability
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors, and AI providers can change or withdraw models; we may then offer others. If a problem on our side means you did not get the service you paid for, tell us: we will fix it or refund a reasonable part of what you paid for the affected time, as the refund policy says.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by relying on an AI model's answer or on an action the agent took at your request, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. This does not limit our liability for loss caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other law that cannot be limited.
13. Suspension and ending
We may suspend an account that breaks section 9. We will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, unless the breach puts other users or the service at immediate risk. If we close your account for a breach, we still refund your unused top-up credit. We may end the service with at least 30 days' notice, and then refund your unused top-up credit and the unused part of a paid month.
14. Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page with a new effective date, and give paying users at least 30 days' notice by email and in the app before a change takes effect. If you do not agree to a change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
15. Records, complaints and law
You can save or print these terms at any time. Every payment and charge is listed in Plan & credits, and we keep payment records for at least five years; we will email you a copy on request.
If something goes wrong, contact us first; we aim to reply within two business days. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you can refer it to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission (thencc.org.za).
South African law governs these terms. Nothing in them limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other law that cannot be limited.
